Standard Business Central works with a single date per transaction, which has to fulfill tax, accounting and analytical functions all at once. dvdata-analysis adds a second analytic date without touching any of the existing accounting logic.
Companies subject to the Spanish SII are required to register invoices within 4 days of receipt, regardless of when the actual economic event occurred. dvdata-analysis solves this structural gap by allowing analysis by the economic event date while tax compliance keeps reporting normally.
The analytic date is an additional field, with no accounting or tax impact. Official accounting, AEAT models and the SII remain exactly the same. The only thing that changes is that there is now an extra field available for internal analysis.
The analytic date is automatically filled from the delivery note, service ticket or prior certification when these exist. No double typing, no constant manual maintenance: the system derives the real date from the operational document that precedes the invoice.
The "wait, this was actually from March" spreadsheets disappear. The information about when each thing happened lives inside the ERP, next to the transaction, accessible to the whole finance team. No dependency on the person who keeps the spreadsheet.
